Art Builds Community (ABC) Grants

Each year The Art Builds Community Grant provides four grants to art and cultural organizations in the Walla Walla Valley with up to $500 of funding to enhance community arts education.  Applicable funding may include, but is not limited to: materials, equipment or other supplies or resources necessary to provide educational opportunities for the local community.  Applicants may receive grant funding two years in a row (must apply each each year) and then must wait one year to apply again.

Who is eligible

• Community organizations of any size, including non-profit, culture and education institutions, that offer arts education opportunities for the residents of the Walla Walla Valley

• Located in the Walla Walla Valley, including Walla Walla, Milton-Freewater, Burbank, Touchet, Lowden, Waitsburg and Prescott

How to Apply

• Organization description (150 words) : Provide a clear and concise description of your organizations general mission, size and target audience.
• Project Statement (300 words): Provide a description of your project, the timeline on which it will be implemented, and how many people you hope to reach.
• Budget Statement (300 words): In paragraph format, describe exactly how you would spend your ABC grant. Further, include other planned or secured sources for funding if applicable.
