Squire Broel | squirebroel.com

Squire Broel is a painter and sculptor. He spent his childhood here in Walla Walla. As a student, Broel learned about drawing, painting and sculpturing from caring and insightful teachers at Garrison Middle School, Walla Walla High School and Whitman College. Living in a town that is surrounded by farmland offered insights about seasons and stewardship of nature.

Broel received his BA from Seattle Pacific University and lived in Southeast Asia before moving back to Walla Walla where he currently lives and works. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions in Canada, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. His work is in numerous public and private collections including the Brooklyn Museum, Los Angeles County Museum, Whitman College and the City of Walla Walla. When you are able to go into downtown Walla Walla again, look for Squire Broel’s sculptures on Main Street and at Whitman College.

Squire Broel’s coloring pages are opportunities for you to have fun and explore. Make multiple versions of each picture using different colors. Play. Enjoy. Create."
