I grew up in the southeast US, and moved to Walla Walla in 2016. I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the University of West Florida (major in oil painting, 2002). I work primarily with oil paint on canvas and wood panels, but I love drawing, especially outdoors. My work focuses on exploration of color and light, and is inspired by nature and neuroplasticity. A few of my favorite things are: lying on a warm beach, listening to the sounds of nature and music, picnics, running and hiking, and drawing what I see.
