Augusta Sparks Farnum | augustasparks.com
Augusta Sparks Farnum is a fifth generation photographer, and graduate of Bard College’s Photography Program. She moved west in 1999 and started a family the following year. As a caretaker, she drew on the walls around her children, worked with botanicals in public venues, and founded an elementary art education nonprofit. Her on-going installations, photography projects and community work has lead her to reassess the role of art and the self. Augusta Sparks Farnum founded Arts in Health: First Aid Art Kit in partnership with Providence St. Mary Hospital, and Providence St. Mary Foundation in response to COVID-19. She is currently attending the graduate Arts in Medicine program at the University of Florida. Augusta Sparks is represented by Studio Two Zero Two in Walla Walla, Washington.
