FAME! (They're not going to live forever)

  • 18 Feb 2016
  • 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Walla Walla Community College Performing Arts & Science Center
Letters Aloud presents “Fame! (They’re not going to live forever)” in Walla Walla on Thursday, February 18, at 7:00 p.m. The show was previously announced to be performed at Gesa Power House Theatre but will take place at the Walla Walla Community College Performing Arts and Science Center instead.

In this highly entertaining reading series, intimate, private letters, written by some of history’s most famous (and infamous) people, are read aloud by actors in front of a live audience. Through the personal letters audience members will come to understand the high price of fame and how it has both evolved and devolved over the years. A funny, poignant and moving experience with live musical accompaniment and a dynamic slide show.

Admission to “FAME!” is Pay-What-You-Will at the door, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Brian K. Senter Fine Arts Scholarship Fund. Paul Morgan Stetler, founder of Letters Aloud and host for the show was a long-time friend of Mr. Senter.
