Volunteer Printmaking Training
Registration is closed

Be part of the 4th annual Dia de los Muertos festival by volunteer to work with ArtWalla's Community Carving Project.

Festival participants will have the opportunity to carve a small wood relief block with DdLM images that will then be printed on paper through a mobile printing press.  The image can also be printed on a t-shirt using the same steamroller that is printing the large scale images carved by Whitman students.

The workshop will be taught by Nicole Pietrantoni, printmaking professor at Whitman and gives trainees that opportunity to work in Whitman's beautiful printmaking studio.

Trainees will then volunteer at the community carving project at the festival on Sunday, October 23rd.
