Art Opening at Foundry Vineyards: Matthew Day Jackson

Foundry Vineyards is honored to to invite you to join us for the Fall art opening of new sculptures by Matthew Day Jackson on Friday, November 4th, 2016 from 5pm-7pm. 

About the Artist:
Matthew Day Jackson (American, b.1974) is a Contemporary artist who works in multiple mediums and in 2000, New York Magazine wrote that he was one of ten "Greater New York" artists most likely to succeed. Foundry Vineyards’ exhibit will focus on new sculptures that were cast at the Walla Walla Foundry. Jackson is the creator of our 2013 Artisan Blend label, an image that he drew specifically for our bottle. He has gallery representation in Amsterdam, London, Los Angeles, New York, and Zurich with solo exhibitions at Museod'Arte Moderna, Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, Kunstmuseum Luzern, and Gemeentemuseu.

This opening falls on the Walla Walla's First Friday "Art Tour" so get out and see art not only at Foundry Vineyards but all over our great town!
