Jill Miller: Borderline Jill’s work examines an autobiographical understanding of depression through a series of figurative paintings. Subject matter includes figurative poses in various states of despair, treatments for depression and the surrounding perceptions of such treatments, including prescription medication and electroshock therapy. This exhibit is part of a Mental Health Awareness Initiative in partnership with the BMCC Student Health & Wellness Resource Center. Jill received a MFA in Painting from the Burren College of Art at the National University of Ireland, Galway. She received a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
