The Walla Walla Symphony Youth Orchestra 

Announces Winter Concert on December 14th

Walla Walla, WA – (December 5, 2016) The Walla Walla Symphony Youth Orchestra (WWSYO) is delighted to present their second concert of the 2016-17 season on Wednesday, December 14th at 7.p.m. at the Walla Walla High School Auditorium. Under the direction of Dr. Paul Luongo, Music Director and Conductor, the WWSYO will perform pieces including Danse Macabre by Saint-Sӓens, Wild Blue Yonder by Brendan McBrien, Wizards in Winter and Christmas Eve/Sarajevo by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra as well as perennial favorite, Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson. The Walla Walla High School Orchestra, under the direction of Julia Woods, will join the WWSYO for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra pieces and Sleigh Ride. This concert is free with a suggested donation of $2/person or $5/family.  All proceeds will benefit the Russ Larsen scholarship, which provides scholarship money to a WA-HI Senior who plans to major or minor in music in college.
