Hadar Ahuvia Talk & Workshop Series @ Harper Joy Theatre

Named to Dance Magazine's “25 to Watch in 2019,” Hadar Ahuvia is a Bessie- nominated choreographer, performer, and educator. Her work has been shown at New York Live Arts and the 14th St Y. Her new work, The Dances are For Us, premiering at Danspace Project in the Spring of 2019, continues her research of cultural exchange and theft in Zionist/Israeli Folk Dance in Israel-Palestine and the U.S.

Ahuvia will visit courses across campus in addition to the following events hosted by the Department of Theater and Dance:

Tuesday, Feb 19, 4-5pm Artist Talk, Nancy Simon Acting Studio
Tuesday, Feb 19, 7-9pm Dancemaking Workshop, Dance Studio
Saturday Feb 23, 1-3pm Community Class: Israeli folk dance, Dance Studio.
