Tutus and Tapas April 13th 7pm Walla Walla Community College Performing Arts Building The Danza Classica Ballet Foundation will host the sixth annual Tutus and Tapas on Saturday, April 13 from 7-9:30pm at the WWCC Performing Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased at Earthlight Books or at the door. Tickets are $30/adult and $15/student and include one glass of wine (WWCC Vintaculture school) or a beverage and tapas created by WWCC culinary students. The Danza Classica Ballet Company, the WW valley’s only classically trained youth ballet company, will perform pieces ranging in style from classical ballet to lyrical ballet to modern. The repertoire is always new, fresh, and exciting under the direction of Artist Director Idalee Hutson-Fish and Assistant Artistic directors Ashley Akacich and Phyllis Affrunti. The evening will feature the choreography of the new up and coming choreographer, Kevin Jenkins. The auditioned company members range in age from 10-18and rehearse on the weekends in addition to attending regular ballet classes during the week. Proceeds benefit the Danza Classica Ballet Foundation and our mission to foster and advance the art of ballet in the WW Valley. Join us for a celebration of ballet!
