The veterans who have served our nation bear the daily burden of their untold stories.The Red Badge Project was established by former Army Captain Evan Bailey and actor and Air Force Veteran Tom Skerritt to lift that weight. The Red Badge Project is dedicated to improving the lives of veterans by sharing storytelling skills to help them manage the challenges of PTS, TBIs, moral injury, and more. Bi-monthly classes for veterans are offered in conjunction with the Vet Centers in Walla Walla, Seattle, Federal Way, Everett, and Spokane. At this event, we are honored to be some of the first people outside of the Red Badge Project classroom to hear these stories.

This is a free event, however it is encouraged that you RSVP as seating is limited.

The 10th annual Walla Walla Movie Crush celebrates a full decade of the most intoxicating blend of American short cinema over the course of three days in July 2026. Once again, the festival will showcase narratives, documentaries, animation, music videos and experimental films grouped in hour-long, thematic blocks.

The WWMC will showcase over 100 new shorts from Oscar®-winners, household names, rising stars and wunderkinds.

Movies will screen in hour-long blocks…

6 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday, July 10

11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 11

12 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 12

By early July 2026, the full Crush line-up will be revealed at themoviecrush.com.

The Vienna Boys’ Choir returns to Walla Walla with Strauss For Ever, a program celebrating the music of the Strauss family. Known for waltzes and polkas, this music has long been part of the choir’s tradition and gives the singers a chance to show their energy, precision, and charm.

The program includes songs filled with sailors, ghosts, bandits, and even hamsters. It’s playful, lively music meant to be enjoyed by listeners of all ages, with a mix of humor, story, and classic Viennese style.

This concert features Vienna Boys’ Choir only, without Walla Walla Symphony musicians.
