Closing Reception at Studio Articolore

Forest Candy
Kim Martinez’s work plays with the natural and artificial. Forest debris is repurposed, creating textures viewed through frosting-like paint triggering memories of ribbon candy, cupcakes, and pulling taffy. The synergy between organic and synthetic creates visual flavors and conjures cravings between nature, sweetness, and indulgence.

Exhibition runs from February 23rd - March 16th. A Closing Reception will be held March 9th from 5-7 pm.
