Artist Trust toasts Walla Walla’s arts community at this happy hour featuring an artist talk by 2015 AT Fellowship recipient Nicole Pietrantoni. You’ll learn about Artist Trust’s upcoming programs and resources and connect with our staff and other Walla Walla artists. Hosted bar and light refreshments provided. Free RSVP suggested. ABOUT THE ARTIST Nicole Pietrantoni’s artwork explores the complex relationship between human beings and nature via installations, artists’ books, and works on paper. She is the recipient of numerous awards and residencies including a Fulbright to Iceland, a Leifur Eiríksson Foundation Grant, an Artist Trust Fellowship, the Manifest Prize, and the Graves Award for excellence in Humanities teaching and research. Her work has been in over 85 national and international exhibitions. Nicole received her MFA and MA in Printmaking from the University of Iowa and her BS in Human and Organizational Development and Art History from Vanderbilt University. Since 2012, Nicole has been a professor at Whitman College where she teaches printmaking and book arts.
