Art Party @ The Barn

Join us for a creative outdoor experience where 2 artists will hang their latest collections on the walls of a 100-year-old barn. The artists are sisters who love what they do and wanted to create a non-gallery experience welcoming for artists and art lovers alike. 

Mary Crane Nutter is a painter with a design background. She brings her clean lines and expressive imagination to whatever makes up her canvas. She will feature mural quilts painted with outdoor paint which makes it safe and versatile for both indoor and outdoor use. Her pattern and color Rolodex is full and vast. Sarah Kelly Crane is a designer by trade and photographer by love. She spent 3 months in Germany in the dead of winter while shooting her 35mm Canon Rebel wandering the lonely streets and villages bundled up and experiencing Germany in it’s rawest form. She was inspired by the dark vastness of her Germany winter. She will feature her photography and design work married together to create a variety of different pieces to view. The experience will include music, hot drinks, twinkle light canopy, and a bonfire as the sun sets. Local Walla Walla band, Sound & Stone, will be playing during the art show. They are acoustic storytellers who say their influences range from Cat Stevens, Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, Bon Iver, and James Taylor to name a few. Now is the time to talk about logistics. Roadside parking is available. Feel free to come to check out the barn beforehand at 1333 Bussell Road and see how much it will transform on September 29th. Card and cash purchases will be accepted but there is no charge to attend and enjoy the atmosphere! Open and welcome to everyone!
