wwudrama invites you to the annual Festival of Shorts on March 2, 3*, 7, 9, and 10* at 8 p.m. (*2 p.m.) in Village Hall. Join us for a night of theatre and film that is sure to make you laugh, maybe make you cry, and guaranteed to entertain. This year’s festival will feature 4 short plays and 7 short films directed by students, faculty, and friends of Walla Walla University.  

Come and get to the heart of relationships, be challenged by thought-provoking social commentaries, and contemplate the meaning love. All are invited to join us at the festival for these and many more exciting productions. 

In keeping with tradition, wwudrama is collaborating with the Film/TV Program in the Department of Communication and Languages to present a group of first-rate student directors: Isaiah Taylor, Clayton Kruse, Jared Jamison, Michael Flores, Taylor Walker, Joel Wagness, Brandon Walker, and Nathan Pittenger. This year our guest directors are Kaelyn Nelson, Jerry Entze, and Kristen Taylor.

There will be a director talk-back following the show on Saturday, March 9. Directors will field audience questions about their productions.
