Simple Ingredients; art by Lindsay Tebeck | Walla Walla Roastery | March 2nd-April 1st

Lindsay admires line and predominantly uses it in her illustrations. She is heavily inspired by line art from the Nouveau period and American Neo-Traditionalism. In this particular collection of work, Lindsay marries line with digital color to depict simple ingredients found in her kitchen. The slight size of these pieces are to reflect how little we acknowledge our foods or their raw source. In creating these small works, she has taken the time to explore how her personal staple ingredients appear in their native state, that is, before being processed down to their consumable parts. In studying their forms, Lindsay has grown all the more enamored by the natural world and aims to share the wild little wonders of our kitchens with her viewers.
