"Dryland" Film Screening

  • 20 Jun 2015
  • 9:30 PM
  • Three Rivers Winery, 5641 Old Hwy 12, WW

Filmed over a 10-year period, "Dryland" profiles two young best friends who strive to win the Lind (Washington) Combine Demolition Derby, save their threatened town, and preserve the legacy of their fourth-generation wheat farms. Bittersweet and exuberant, "Dryland" ultimately champions hope for sustainable agriculture and strong rural communities, in a celebration of hard work and harder play—fueled by ingenuity, heart…and axle grease.

The filmmakers will attend the screening and Q&A.

Doors open at 8:00 PM and film begins at 9:30 PM. This is an outdoor screening (weather permitting); bring a chair or blanket.
A $10 donation is suggested and will benefit the Friends of Mac-Hi FFA.
